My Goals and Why I'm Not Waiting Until The New Year

So often we get caught up in the hype of "Resolutions" and starting something new in the New Year. If you haven't already heard, resolutions don't work and most people who say they are making a change; don't. I too was a serial "waiter" and even still do wait to do things sometimes. What I have found to realize, is people who act fast and don't wait, tend to be more consistent. I had to switch things up and act on things more often, rather then waiting. So, here I am, sharing some of my goals that I'm working on now and not waiting for the New Year. I have way too many plans in place to list, but here is a good 7.

Growing With God
These past few months have really showed me who God is and how much he loves me. My faith has been tested and so has my patience, but God has stuck right by my side through it all. My faith has grown so much and I want to continue to get closer to him in this coming year.

Serving and giving More
I really want to continue creating content and providing value to other people around me. I know that my purpose is to serve and give back. Donations, volunteering, and inspiration will all be continued and even better. Also, more of helping other people mentally, spiritually, physically, and financially.

Saying "No" More
I have always been that person that just couldn't say no, because I was afraid to lose "friends" or look rude. I now understand that "No" in necessary. You can't please everyone and you can't be a million places at one time. So now and forever more, I will say "No" and be ok with it. Especially, if it means a peace of mind and happines. Its important to have boundaries. Also, people will get over it. If not, let them go.

Saving
Not that I don't save now but my saving is about to be on a notha level. Its time to create that generational wealth and not just worry about myself. I have learned so much this year about saving and investing my money, so I started doing more of it.

Paying of Debt
I started doing more of paying debt this year and plan on continuing to pay off debt in this coming year. I plan to pay off a big chunk of debt, so that I can focus on other things.

Dating With a Purpose
So I have totally missed the mark with this one over the past few years and I know now what needs to be done (LOL). I literally had no dating plan in place and just kind of winged it, when it came to dating. Now, I know EXACTLY what I want and what I deserve. My dating plan is written just like the rest of my goals and ready to be executed when the time presents itself.

Networking
Continuing to meet and talk to other people. Connections are sooo important and I have met some amazing people along the way. I definetly want to continue making connections and collaborating with positive people.

Set your goals and don't wait until the New Year. Tomorrow is never promised. Joy comes from living everyday passionate about something and just enjoying the journey. Waiting means you have fear and fear always fails. Start TODAY, even if its baby steps
